Privacy Policy — Festival Stickers

Festival Stickers ("the app") is a sticker pack app for Android. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect. It applies to the app published under the package name com.festivalstickers.app.

Information stored on your device

The app has no accounts, no sign-up and no login. It does not ask for your name, email, phone number or contacts. It does not request camera, microphone, location, storage or contacts permissions. Sticker artwork is bundled in the app and can be browsed offline; ads and external services may use a network connection.

Your choices inside the app (which packs you marked as favourite, your theme setting, whether you have seen the intro) are stored on your device. We do not operate a server that receives these preferences. Android may back up or transfer these settings according to your device's backup settings. The app also keeps a recent crash trace locally; you can choose to include it when sending a support email.

Advertising

The app is free and shows a small number of ads through Google AdMob. To serve those ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, subject to the applicable settings and privacy choices. This can include:

device or other identifiers, including the advertising ID and app set ID;
app and ad interactions, such as app launches, taps and video views;
your IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location;
diagnostic information about app and SDK performance, such as launch time, hangs and energy usage.

Google processes this data through its advertising SDK, which encrypts this data in transit using TLS. Google's handling of it is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

The app uses Google's consent tools to ask for privacy choices where required. In version 1.2.0 and later, required privacy choices can be revisited in Settings → Privacy choices. Declining personalised advertising does not necessarily remove all ads.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID on Android under Settings → Google → Ads.

Ratings

The app uses Google Play's in-app review API to occasionally offer a rating prompt. Google controls whether that prompt appears. We do not receive any personal data from it.

When you tap "Add to WhatsApp", Android hands the selected sticker pack to the WhatsApp app installed on your phone. We do not read your chats, contacts or messages, and we do not receive anything back from WhatsApp beyond whether the pack was added.

Festival Stickers is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a trademark of its respective owner.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
